Return Policy
If you’re thinking about returning a product, here are some important things to keep in mind:
All the products you find on The Fashion Code are made by skilled weavers and artisans, often in their own homes or villages.
These handmade items may have slight imperfections like variations in weave patterns, unique prints, small lumps in the fabric, or minor differences in color. These quirks are completely normal for handmade products and don’t mean there’s anything wrong with them.
The Fashion Code is a marketplace where most sellers are small-scale weavers, cooperatives, and artisans. They work hard to create and sell genuine handmade goods. But, it can be tough for them to handle returns because the products are often returned in a condition that can’t be resold. For example, if a cotton saree is returned all wrinkled and damaged, it’s a big loss for these artisans. It’s important to note that handcrafted products, unlike those produced in large quantities with chemical dyes or digital printing, are not mass-manufactured. These handmade items are created in small batches, making them unique and special.
We appreciate your support and understanding. It means a lot to our artisans and us as we strive to preserve the beauty of handloom craftsmanship.
Which items can be returned? (items eligible for returns)
We have a 24-hour return policy, which means you can request a return within 24 hours of receiving your item.
The items should be unused, in a resellable condition, or if they are defective.
Please ensure the items are in their original packaging with all tags still intact.
At The Fashion Code, returns are accepted only in cases where a wrong or damaged product has been delivered.
